Grounded in Classical Horsemanship
Like so many others, I fell in love with horses as a kid—and never grew out of my "horse crazy" phase. After high school, I became captivated by the world of natural horsemanship, immersing myself in clinics and years of study with Buck Brannaman and other students of Ray Hunt and Tom Dorrance. Their teachings on feel, timing, and balance became the foundation of my training philosophy and ignited my passion for working with both horses and riders.

My experience in groundwork, colt starting, and horsemanship led me to a position at El Campeon Farms, where I served as the lead trainer for their Santa Cruz Island Horse program. There, my focus turned towards dressage as I developed and showcased young horses, helping bring this historic breed into the public eye. Working with these talented but often green horses deepened my understanding of building confidence, correctness, and adaptability in equine athletes.
Working Equitation:
The Sport that Brought it all Together
When I was first introduced to Working Equitation, I knew I had found my sport. It combined everything I loved. Through years of dedication, I have now competed in all seven levels in the sport earning multiple national and regional placings.
Now, my sights are set on the USA Working Equitation international team, with the goal of representing the United States at the 2026 World Championships in Spain. This journey isn’t just about competition; it’s about refining my skills, developing my horses, and bringing greater awareness to this incredible sport.

Whether I’m coaching at shows, leading clinics, or developing young horses, my mission remains the same: to help horse and rider reach their full potential and thrive together.
