Abigail Followwill is the head trainer for El Campeon Farms and focuses on the Santa Cruz Island Horse rare breed preservation project horses. Being a "student of the horse" and of the masters that have come before her is her greatest passion and pursuit. She enjoys the challenge of competing and sees it as a great opportunity to test and refine her daily riding. She has earned multiple championship titles in Working Equitation and Western Dressage and regularly shows in both disciplines.

 

Her background in Buck Brannaman style horsemanship lead her to the position at El Campeon Farms and has been integral in developing the training programs for all the farm’s horses including quarter horses and a mustang cross.
